Kenosha, WI

This 226,000 SF replacement hospital facility constructed on a fast track schedule included MPC as a design-assist partner for the plumbing, medical gas and HVAC systems.  Our services included establishing a GMP price from DD drawings, reviewing the mechanical cost impact of design changes, and evaluating and proposing alternate solutions to maintain project cost control.  Additionally, we provided CADD overlay coordination of mechanical systems and schedule management participation.

Racine, WI

This Design assist/GMP project consisted of a 200,000 sq.ft. - Seven story facility equipped with a Cardiac wing, Emergency Room suite, and a medical office building.  A key element of this project was the replacement of the underground chilled water system serving the existing hospital during construction while maintaining full hospital operations.  The 4,200 sq. ft. custom built-up air handling unit providing 144,000 CFM of ventilation air flow to this addition was a project highlight.

Completed projects include:  Diagnostic/treatment wing addition, MRI infill, Tomotherapy building addition, ER mechanical system upgrades, corporate office/support wing addition along with numerous interior renovation projects.

As Kenosha's growth expanded west toward interstate 94, the need for a new extended care hospital was fulfilled through the construction of this facility.  Our services included the installation of the complete HVAC system including a steam power plant, hot water boilers and a chilled water systems.  Challenges of limited ceiling space required MPC to provide complete trade coordination for the completion of this project.

All Saints Medical Hospital

Racine, WI

Martin Petersen Company completed the plumbing, HVAC, and Medical gas system upgrades in the Cardiac Care, Emergency room, Endoscopy, Behavioral Health, Women's & Children's Center and Medical office building additions and alterations over the course of five years. The work was spread out over two hospital campuses and involved working directly with the owner's representative to overcome construction challenges such as completing work through and around occupied areas.

St. Alexius Hospital - Medical Office Building #3

Hoffman Estates, IL

Over the course of two years the construction of this expanding hospitals 3^rd medical office building was completed. This 121,000 sq. ft. 5 story facility houses independent doctor offices, a cardiac cath lab, a radiation oncology center, a medical oncology suite and a blood-lab center. Martin Petersen Company completed the HVAC and Plumbing on this project.

Hines, IL

MPC acted as a design/assist partner for this 120,000 SF new spinal cord injury and blind rehabilitation center at the VA hospital in Hines, IL.  We worked as an integral design team member to resolve coordination, schedule and budget issues while meeting the aggressive schedule constraints established for the project completion.
