This sewage lift station is the primary collection point for the city of Elkhorn.  MPC was contracted for the complete removal and replacement of pumps and piping in this facility remodel.   Capacity was increased from 5.8 MGD to 13 MGD.  A coordinated system bypass during construction proved to be an important consideration.

Racine Water Utility High Lift Station

This 1932 fresh water pumping station received an upgrade to the system pumps. MPC replaced antiquated cone valves with new 16" ball valves. Due to space limitations and age of the system, MPC fabricated custom flanges and reducers for this project.

Pewaukee Wells 4 & 6

Pewaukee, WI

Pewaukee constructed one new well and remodeled an existing well to update to current standards and demand.  Martin Petersen installed plumbing, PVC coated ductwork, chemical fans, new piping, meters, a chemical treatment system, pumps and scales in the new well.  With the existing well, we reworked the existing piping to insert a surge tank and new discharge piping.  All work on the existing well was successfully coordinated around the city's pumping schedule and completed within one week.

Ethan Allen Well #3 Radionuclide Reduction

Wales, WI

In order to update the Ethan Allen boys prison water system, a chemical treatment system needed to be added to the existing well to remove radium #226 & #228. Martin Petersen installed two 8' x 12' tanks and the associated piping and equipment.  We also installed a Chemical treatment system including two dosing pumps, new scales and controls and new chemical injectors.  All upgrades to the system were completed without interrupting the water service to the prison.
