Martin Petersen Company, Inc. is committed to protecting the health and safety

sites. We are committed to safety at all levels of our company, making it an
integral component in the culture and values of MPC. As a result of the
commitment of both employees and management, Martin Petersen Company, Inc. has
been recognized multiple times by construction industry associations including
the Sheet Metal & Air Conditioning Contractors National Association, Lake County
Contractors Association, and the Wisconsin Council of Safety for having an
outstanding safety and health records.
The following information is a brief overview of our emphasis and commitment to safety:
- We employ a full-time safety director who is responsible for developing, implementing and enforcing
the MPC Safety Program and also performing on-site safety inspections
- Comprehensive Foreman Safety Training Program
- Extensive OSHA compliant programs
- Mandatory Weekly Safety Tool Box Talks
- Supporting the Human Resource Department including mandatory new employee safety orientation
- Pre-employment and post incident drug screenings
- As a condition of employment, all employees must adhere to MPC safety rules,
instructions, and procedures. These same guidelines are applied to all Martin
Petersen Company, Inc. subcontractors and suppliers
- Stringent enforcement of all federal, state and local safety laws
Our safety record speaks for itself. Our workers compensation experience modification factor (EMF) has consistently been well below the industry average for several years and is a reflection of our commitment to safety.
